Billie Eilish's hit single 'When The Party's Over' receives a bass rework
ThatBehavior, Arcando & Lunis team up for a massive collaboration
One of the key breakout artists from the past couple of years has been without a doubt the teen superstar Billie Eilish, who catapulted herself into stardom with her distinguishable, one-of-a-kind branding and music, building an immensively large and dedicated following in the process. Her music mostly constructs of dark and depressive lyrics and emo pop-like sound and visual output, making her tracks also such a perfect basis for trap and bass remixes. Look no further, as we might have come across the best rework so far, or a strong contender at the very least.
After their multiple collaborations between each other, the rapidly rising artists Lunis, Arcando and ThatBehavior teamed up for a heavy bass treatment on Billie’s breakout hit ‘When The Party’s Over’, setting the original composition on flames with their fierce trap cover. Just like the original song, the trio’s 2021-rework is nothing short of breathtaking in its own genre, combining in a stunning fashion Billie’s dark and haunting songwriting & singing style with an energetic bass/trap production and a top-level sound design.
The French duo Lunis’ trend has been on an explosive rise since the beginning of 2020, having established themselves as one of today’s cover hit machines with singles like ‘Apologize’, ‘Zombie’ and ‘Death Bed’. In less than a year, the duo reached over 50M streams on Spotify and received support on one of the biggest dance playlists on Spotify with their releases on Universal Music, Magic Music and more. In 2021, Lunis hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down, by putting out quality tracks after each other, pushing the duo close to 3 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
The release also sees the long-time friends Arcando and ThatBehavior joining forces once again, who are both reshaping the trap & future bass genre limits one release at a time with their impressively creative and unique productions. Out of these two, especially the Dutch dj/producer Arcando has been on a roll since 2020, by having multiple successful releases on NCS, Lowly and Future Generation and by quadrupling his monthly listeners on Spotify. And the best thing here is, that with all the unreleased music the Dutch talent has currently in store for the upcoming year, there’s no doubt that his success in 2020 was only a prelude of what’s to come in 2021.
